Software-defined vehicles

Orchestration, ROS and autonomous systems. Eclipse Muto models the software stack on a vehicle as a live, declarative graph — introspected, composed and reconfigured remotely at runtime. Composiv is a founding member of the Eclipse SDV working group and steward of Muto, working alongside the ecosystem's leading OEMs and suppliers.

Logistics & heavy-duty tow tractors

Fully autonomous tow tractors that move 6 tons through mixed indoor-outdoor campus traffic — real cars, pedestrians and signage. Missions integrate with ERP and fleet management: pick up trailers, drop them off, park and charge autonomously, and recover state after power loss.

Anti-collision AEB, 360° situational awareness, >95% obstacle detection and certified emergency stop — safety engineered for people-dense factory floors.

Dynamic mapping

LiDAR-based 3D and HD mapping with multi-sensor fusion — centimeter-level localization indoors and outdoors, in any lighting and real weather.

V2X, V2V & infrastructure networking

Vehicles, chargers, doors and fleet managers on one network: work-order parsing and queueing, live telemetry, and open APIs into MES, WMS and ERP.

Orchestration & OTA

Muto's model-driven middleware composes and reconfigures ROS stacks across a fleet — the same stack model from the test bench to production vehicles.

Eclipse Muto, in the open

Muto is developed at the Eclipse Foundation under the Software-Defined Vehicle working group — vendor-neutral, Apache-licensed orchestration middleware for adaptive ROS. It is the backbone of our automotive work and the same middleware that drives MutoATT in production.
